Welcome to the forum. I hope we can get some more of the old members to join up here.

The Forum is still something of a work in progress, so if you have any ideas, I would be glad to hear them. I need to check out suitable options for the appearamce for a start and also some suitable images to brighten the place up!

I am not sure of the Username thing. I checked the Admin Panel, but could find no sign of a minimum username length. I suspect I may be able to edit your username though, but didn't want to try in case it caused some confusion.

At the weekend (ought to have some money in my bank account) I will investigate a suitable Domain Name to use to link to the forum.

also I too hope we can get some old and new memebers to join up. When we have locked down an Domain Name  I will link it to the facebook account i have set up.

like i said i'm happy to help however possible.

we should maybe focus on sci-fi stuff also.. like keep the name but have diffrent forums for fans of Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc..

Let me know and I can help out with the funding the place if need be.

The only expense so far is going to be the Domain name. I will probably go with a co.uk one as that will be cheaper which I don't mind paying as it will give me access to email forwarding anyway. I had a Domain name a while ago but let it lapse.

I like the idea of a Harry Potter and Doctor Who section as these ought to draw more people in. I may add Star Trek as well. I am not sure what limits there are on free forums in terms of usage. I suppose we will have to wait and see. I'll add suitable keywords to get the Search engines to find us... if I can figure out the details. This is something of a learning curve for me as this could potentially be quite an active forum!

I have yet to figure out the Moderators side of things (not really an issue with a few members).

I decided to set myself a standard Username as well! So a double welcome!

Thank you Bassman for making this forum. No social network can substitute the good ol' bulletin board. Unfortunately, the forum didn't allow me to register as Master (I was told the name was taken) so I made a new... version of it.

The forum looks fine, although seeing avatars and poster's name on the right is pretty ridiculous. Is it because this is a British forum? Okay, I'm only joking. the Forum looks sweet.

Can we change the phpBB logo on the top? If we can, I'd like to work on a new logo for a forum.

I'm happy to help design the page or make logos or do whatever is needed to help out.

I think it's great that we all have a love for BH.net in such a way that we are trying to find a way to keep the "family" close.

Yes I think with adding Harry Potter/Doctor Who/Star Trek/ and other sci-fi stuff that it will make us look more open, then just having Star Wars as our main topic.

Hey guys, glad to be here!  Thank you Bassman for creating this. I only have one suggestion to put in substitute avatars in for people (like me) who don't know how to put pictures up for their avatars. Like BH had some silly ones, but they had something to put a picture up.
