Now, I must admit to being something of a Disney fan. I pre-ordered this on Blu-Ray and it arrived yesterday.

I am not sure what I was expecting from this, but it wasn't quite what the trailer with the Snowman and Reindeer led me to expect! That's not to say I didn't enjoy the movie, though I think that Tangled is still my favourite (I have that on Blu-Ray as well!). There was a lot more singing that there was in Tangled. I think the Reindeer was the new Maximus (preferred Maximus in Tangled, as he was superb).

Based (loosely?) on the "Snow Queen". I do have the fairly recent mini-series of that on DVD.

On High Definition the picture was of course superb (as it should be on a recent release). I only watched it through the TV so far, which meant I only had the sound in stereo. Will have to watch it again utilizing my mini 5.1 surround system.

There seems a decent amount of extras, though I have yet to check them out.

I recently saw Frozen also, and I was not impressed.. I did not love the movie, like I do other Disney movies. But I did not hate it either.

Its funny that you said that the reindeer was the new maximus because my boyfriend said the same thing as we were watching it..

I did enjoy the movie.
However now there is a joke that goes on with my boyfrined, his family and I were the song

"Do you want to build a snowman"

now we sing
"Do you want to make a sandwhich/pizza"

Haven't seen it yet, but am curious too. My aunt was raving about it so much, my mother kept asking to see it. Quite annoying actually because my mother (although she likes Disney films) doesn't usually keep asking to see one. But it looks good, sort of the animation from Tangled.

So what would you two give it, from a number from 1-10?

I would give it about a 5 or 6...
Like I said.. I liked it but not the best Diseny production.

I would say a 6 or 7 maybe. I would give Tangled a 9.
