I was fairly open-minded when the new Doctor was chosen.

I have been watching "The Musketeers" on the BBC (based on the characters from The Three Musketeers of course). Peter Capaldi plays Cardinal Richelieu and is effectively a "bad guy". Having seen other actors playing bad characters in TV series I hope it does not colour my opinion of the new Doctor.

Yeah, I'm also fairly optimistic about Peter Capaldi. Smith was a great Doctor, but it's about time they made him older, I mean how much younger can he get?

He is a very good character actor (sorry, should really have used the Bassman user!). I have seen him in another movie now. World War Z was on my Satellite Movie Premiere channel from last Friday, so I decided to watch it. Not a huge part, but he was good as usual.

He is a very good actor, but a great actor can portray a character in a bad way. Looking good though Smile
